Wow! Great set. Some look like you were up there flying next to them! What did you use to shoot them?

Where were you shooting from? I went down Sunday, paid for a good parking spot, walked down next to Duke's to claim a spot...and was informed by a CNN guy that it was canceled. Total bummer...

I never realized that some were single and some dual cockpits until now! (never too old to learn something new).

Amazing no matter how many times we see photos of airplanes, and also ships , bikes, cars, trucks, etc... We just keep looking and looking.

Thanks for your kind words KindaSpikey. I was using a Nikon D500 w/80-400 Nikon lens, hand-held.

Man, that is tough luck. This oil spill is the perfect example of “Murphy’s Law.” I live very close to a soccer field that is adjacent to the Joint Training base (Los Alamitos). The Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, and other military aircraft park here for the air show. All day continual coming and going. Soccer field off of Lampson and Rose. Thanks for commenting.

You had a great location, it was hard for me to get those robust colors last time they had the show, 'cuz of the directionality of the sun as opposed to me...from the backgrounds discerned from your shots I couldn't figure where you were! Well, now I know and we may meet up next year, lol...
