Had that same mailbox on my first house. Can't imagine anyone paying $1800 a foot. Can't imagine anyone living there though at any price.

The price of housing can be astounding. I just read where southern California has renovated an old multistory building to make furnished apartments for the homeless at a cost of $350,000 each. The good news is that San Francisco is doing the same thing at twice the cost so I guess in the scheme of things it's a bargain.
