Has anyone used Nikon's refurbished cameras? I am looking at several cameras and the prices look good. Thanks

I have not bought refurbished or even Nikon, but did buy a used Pentax that was not refurbished and it was very reliable. I understand refurbished are checked carefully and some parts may be replaced as necessary to bring the camera, or whatever the item, is brought back to nearly like new. So, probably would be a good deal. Good luck.

Years ago I bought a Nikon D7000 refurb from Nikon, great camera, had it for years, then I gave to my daughter, she still has it. This year I bought a Nikon D500 refurb from Nikon, had to return it, it would not auto-focus.

I bought a refurb Nikon Df with 50mm lens from B&H. It was refurbished by Nikon. Nikon didn't have any in stock. The one from B&H didn't have a lens hood or a couple of caps. I was able to order the accessories and the total price was about the same.

Camera and lens are like brand new!

I have purchased both Canon and Nikon factory refurbished cameras and they work as good as new, last just as long and cost much less than brand new and have the same warranty as new. I have no problem with factory refurbished cameras.

Rasa24 all my "Profession" grade Nikon Cameras are Refurbished and purchased directly from Nikon.
a decade ago while assisting other commercial shooters in my market they all shared the the same advice.
Buy Refurbished directly from Nikon... They go through a much more refined Quality Control then new in the box.

I've never had any problems with all five of these Pro Grade Refurbs...
Can't say enough good things about Nikon's Refurbs... They totally Rock! Especially for the price!

Hope this helps... Enjoy!

Wrong question. Right question is, β€œ Are refurbished better than new?”

Having bought half dozen Nikon refurbs my answer is, β€œYes!”
