Red River Paper
How you heard of Red River Paper? What do you think of there products?
I only print for my own personal use, and I use their paper exclusively. I really like it.
I can only compare it to the paper from mass merchandisers like Office Depot or Kodak or other similar products.
I'm curious what others say.
Love Red River paper. I print note cards and love their prescored. papers. Anything larger than a greeting card I send out.
I use red river papers, all sizes, for at home prints. After trying it out a few years ago, I discovered that I like it better than any other I have tried.
Great company to deal with. Quality papers.
Large selection of top quality papers. They offer sample packs of a variety of paper types. Well worth ordering if you want to experiment with different papers.
A very good source with many selections.
You are right about Red River Paper based here locally in Dallas Texas.
Red River the only paper I use.
When I retired and moved to Italy I shipped 25 boxes of various sizes and types. Now after 7 years I am almost out of my favorite. (shipping and custom fees are way too high to just purchase and ship).
We have friends scheduled to visit in January and they will carry at least 5 - 100 count boxes in their packed bags. Thank God for friends.
Red River is my preferred paper - use many varieties but my favorite is palo duro softgloss rag.
I have been printing pictures since 1957, Red River Paper is the BEST I have used. I particularly like the Metallic, and satin. They process orders quickly and customer service is great. One cavaet: They have printer drivers for their products. You download and install on your computer and activate the appropriate one based on the paper you are using. I found that process confusing at first but once you get the hang of it, it is easy to use.
I have used their papers exclusively over the past 6 years for my photo prints. A great company with great customer service.
Red River Papers produce very high quality photo papers at a very good price. I have been using them for many years and just ordered a number of papers for my new printer (Epson ET-8550) as they have even produced new ICC profiles for this printer. I am finding that because I live in Canada, the cost of the papers for converting my Canadian money to U.S. dollars, shipping and duties are starting to make their papers more expensive. They used to have a company that shipped from Vancouver to the rest of Canada but it now seems to be closed.
I've tried many of RR's papers, and settled on a few I like. They'll send you a sample pack for 10 bux or so...
