Wilco Sir, but both Chester and I are somewhat confused, exactly what does the term politically correct mean?

Political Correctness is a doctrine, recently fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end!
Now, with special thanks to the Truman Museum and Harry himself, you and I finally have a full understanding of what 'POLITICAL CORRECTNESS' really means…..
Remember it was his wife Bess who spent mamny years trying to get him to use the word "manure" instead of "shit."
Let's hear Jingo Joe's definition, since he produces more than anyone else.
I am not a member of the post police, but this should probably be in The Attic, where people feel more free to hurl insults at each other.

This story about Harry Truman is not true. Certainly his purported use of the term "mainstream media" should have been an instant giveaway, since there was no significant alternate media in Truman's day. The fictional story reportedly dates back to 2006 or so and is attributed to students of Texas A&M University.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/truman-political-correctness/The actual first known usage of "politically correct" is in a Supreme Court opinion in the 1793 case of
Chisholm vs. Georgia. The Court ruled that citizens of states could sue state governments because sovereign immunity was not found to apply. This decision was later nullified by the Eleventh Amendment.
Here is the entire paragraph in which the term is used (not that anyone actually wants to read it):
"In the United states, and in the several states, which compose the Union, we go not so far, but still we go one step farther than we ought to go in this unnatural and inverted order of things. The states, rather than the people, for whose sakes the states exist, are frequently the objects which attract and arrest our principal attention. This, I believe, has produced much of the confusion and perplexity which have appeared in several proceedings and several publications on state politics, and on the politics, too, of the United states. Sentiments and expressions of this inaccurate kind prevail in our common, even in our convivial, language. Is a toast asked? "The United states," instead of the "People of the United states," is the toast given.
This is not politically correct. The toast is meant to present to view the first great object in the Union: it presents only the second. It presents only the artificial person, instead of the natural persons who spoke it into existence. A state I cheerfully fully admit, is the noblest work of Man. But, Man himself, free and honest, is, I speak as to this world, the noblest work of God."

President Harry Truman should be the model of a modern-day president. Not for his political leaning but for his dignity and character. When his term was over he drove himself home and then personally paid the postage of correspondence on matters of former presidential affairs. He did not stay in politics as a career nor did he leave as a wealthy man as so many politicians do today.
Harry was right. The "Buck" did stop with him and he owned every decision he made and did not push blame on past administrations.

If you're not, why did you say it should be in the Attic?
It will get there eventually, if not sooner.
Politically Correct: Always wondered why and who are the people preferring a Prez use the word **** instead of manure. Kindness and respect to and for others seems to be a lost art with some. What is so terrible about being nice? If you really want to be critical of Political Correctness let us look at that whole bit about January 6, and the nice tourists peacefully touring the Capitol Building. **** might be more accurate than manure. However, just calling it a lie might be the best solution.
So much for political correctness…
My my. How far the party has drifted from Truman, the president who ended WWII with a victory. That's where 'Make America Great Again' comes in.
In general:
Fraudit recount confirms Biden won in Arizona and Maricopa County. 360 MORE votes cast for Biden/fewer for Trump. Considering this group of recounters went there with a predetermined mission to throw the results into doubt and establish that there was Democratic fraud. Once again, such efforts prove totally incorrect and EXPENSIVE. Congratulations to all you extremists who blew millions on this ridiculous recount/fraudit. Yet we will likely have to go through this debacle in another 6 States. Maybe there will be more recount demands in Arizona. Let’s keep going! When will there be enough recount results to put these ridiculous fraud conspiracy theories to rest? Never, is my guess.

Character counts. To many in today’s hyper tribal atmosphere obviously care little or nothing about character when they cast their ballot .
DennyT: I am glad you mention character as important in determining how your ballot should be cast. I have always thought this should be the primary consideration in determining my vote. Party politics or ideology mean little to me if the person impresses me as a weasel.

In a backward way I guess . Biden had tiny tiny amount of character and trump had none.
