America has gun restrictions too. Take a look at NYC, Chicago and Detroit, Washington, DC. All have incredibly strict gun laws that prohibit possession of firearms except through rigorous checks. The Chinese killer virus and its variants now threaten the well being of millions of citizens. This threat justifies immediate action on a national scale. After all, the vaccination for the virus saves lives.
Your comment omits any mention of the public health.
It also omits how the dunderheads who shun the vaccine can affect innocent others who may become infected as a result.
Finally, your comment omits any mention of the numerous vaccines that children receive as a condition of attending school, in the name of the public health.

EVERYtime I leave, I need a DMV card. A license card. A registration card. An insurance card.
Without these- it means I get a ticket. Or arrested.

Without these- it means I get squat. Life could suck.

While I agree with you in theory regarding the need for everyone to be vaccinated, your logic is flawed. The government did not make you get vaccinated for polio, measles, smallpox. I had no ID card or vaccination card in school. As far as the DMV, you chose to drive. The government doesn't make you drive. Health insurance, you chose to use MEDICARE. Credit cards, again your choice not to pay in cash. My point, none of those things were required of you by the government just to live in this country. You made the choice to do those things which had government or other requirements. The government did not force you to do any of them.
