Biden: "What's wrong, General Milley?"
Milley: "Retired Army officers, like Major Long here, are calling me a freaking jackass. I shouldn't have to stand for that."
Biden: "Major Long, have you called General Milley a freaking jackass?"
Major Long: "Surely have. Repeatedly."
Biden:" STOP that right now or I'll revoke your Army pension. And don't call me Shirley!"
Major Long: "You can't do that legally, but I doubt that would stop you. OK, so I can't call him a freaking jackass; lemme ask this: if I'm talking to a freaking jackass, can I call him 'General'?"
Biden, after consulting with his Attorney General: "Yes, you can. In fact, you can call the jackass 'Mr. President,' if you wish."
Major Long: "OK, fine. Goodby, General. Goodby, Mr. President."
