B&W sample - Photoshop Auto Color sample - and my sample of coloring of Ingrid Bergman using PS if you want to see the difference
I know some members here and on another site I belong to are trying out the new PS auto coloring on some of their photos . I'm not here to discourage them from using the auto coloring or trying it out on some of their B&W photos or using it to start the coloring and then make their own touch ups afterwards . This is just a sample for members that may wonder how good is PS auto color filter vs someone manually coloring a photo . I'm sure some of you have tried the auto coloring on some of your old B&W photos and may be very happy with the results .
I've tried it and feel it's not ready for prime time yet.

What an old-school heartthrob
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I tried it out. I find depending on the photograph will determine how good the final results will be. The nice thing is you do have some choices when working on a photo. I think like anything else improvements will be made over time to the software.
I use Photoshop frequently. It is very adjustable. But again, it isn't perfect and you can make further adjustments later. I find it tries to make the skin tones too yellow. but again, you can correct that at the outset.
I forgot to mention your manual coloring is excellent.
I like the lighter coloring of the jacket.

I think you are the king.
I agree with Bob--Not ready for prime time. That said I use it occasionally when I have nothing else to do. I have none of the skill and experience of the King and honestly have no desire to learn. I'll keep hoping PS gets it right some day.
