Caught this shot of a badger with a big yawn at the local zoo. I wouldn't want to get in the way of the teeth or those claws. EXIF Data: Sony DSLR A900, Aperture priority, 70-210 Minolta lens at 210mm, f/8, 1/250 second, ISO 320 and -.3 compensation.

Looks like 5 claws/foot so I assume they have 5 toes too

Yep, I saw that Mike. But no toe pad there and I'm not sure that is a claw. Look at his right foot. Just an interested observation. I was a Wildlife Biology/Anatomy major in college. Most mammals share the human propensity for five digits, even whales and such. Squids, on the other hand, do not.
