Both of these photos were shot with backgrounds that were pretty much unacceptable. Both were headed for the recycle bin. However, I felt there was something there worth trying to save. In both cases, I totally replaced the background. At first I posted them in
The Exploration of Digital Artistry. Those versions were well received but there were several comments with ideas to improve them. I spent a bit of time doing some very easy re-edits and these two are where I ended up. Here is a link to the original post if you would like to see the earlier versions.

Thank you, Mike. I would love to get more people to come over and enjoy Digital Artistry, too.
Looks like you ended up with your usual, incredible photographs, for us to peruse. Well done.

Still very nice Carol. I have a personal bias against flowers with their petals cut off. Do you have enough room to extend the crop on No.2 to capture the rest of the blossom?

Jack, Iโll take a look at the raw file but I donโt think I had the whole flower. I probably wouldnโt have cut it off intentionally.
The reworks are much nicer, Carol. A great way to save an image from the bin.
Looks like a worthwhile salvage job! Great work carol.

Thank you, Ron. I did it for the challenge as much as anything.๐
