Great shots. I have found the same problem in Bonita Springs, Fl. I go out for a walk looking for insects to photograph and I come home with no shots. I am on Cape cod right now and it is a little better here. My thoughts:
they spray to much. Just a thought

Well they do spray around here but it's by airplane and they're actually using a chrysanthemum oil they won't spray melaton or pesticides but they have a I think it's chrysanthemum maybe something else but it's a oil from a flower and it's concentrated and it's really expensive so they don't come by very often they will come through in a fog with it on special request but it's literally not supposed to hurt anything else but then again the government told us to brush our teeth up and down and we know how that went so LOL yeah we're kind of suspecting that the frogs ate everything here because now the frogs are disappearing and all the lizards are getting fat and healthy

Well, as you all know, I do like spiders.
I also like frogs, but they disappeared about 11 years ago here.
We used to have a lot of the little bright green tree frogs, and suddenly, they were gone.
2-3 weeks ago I have 17 spiders I could observe. Now I have 2. I even got to see my once a year friends, the Green Lynx, and the Tropical Orchard, I only saw those for perhaps 2 days in the year, but then the frogs came, and they ate everything, even them.
I have almost nothing left but frogs, hundreds of them, and a few lady bugs.
Perhaps, her eggs will survive.

Hope you enjoy folks :)

I am thrilled that everyone enjoyed the photographs, and very thankfully for all the wonderful comments.
I have never had any training in photography other than what I have read here and on another forum for Pentax users and also just guessing. So it thrills me to no end to know I am getting it right. When someone points out a favorite , esp when a few do, I then can re examine the image and learn what made it popular. This forum is full of good folks and incredible knowledge.
Thanks to each of you
