I got lots of positive comments on the photos of the Chillon Castle pier in my previous post : https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-707167-1.html. I reworked the B&W slightly with Topaz B&W Effects 2 and I'm posting the color image which I processed with Luminar 4 and did not post. I'm curious to know which you like better.

I like them both. If push comes to shove, I think the color is slightly better.

Mark,

I really like both of them. I slightly prefer the color version due to the look of the water in the foreground.

Maybe a little too much blue but both versions are very good. I do prefer the B&W though.

Beautiful work, Mark! The color is warmer, but the B&W really shows the technical quality.

Arg.
I opened both in their own tabs and kept switching between them....
I cannot pick one easily. if I had to, I suppose the color.

Color for me - Not too difficult just check out the water and the mountains - no brainer

In most cases with that much water I would choose color however the light in the water in B&W draws you in to the mountains from the pier is so good my pick would be B&W.

The B&W is more dramatic IMHO.
Although I do like them both, I like the monotone a little bit more.

Both wall hangers, choice would be based entirely on decor.

I'm usually a proponent of B&W, but this time, I like the color.
