Yes but the propaganda is if all are vaccinated it will disappear. It won’t. I’m not saying don’t get vaccinated just look at what they’re saying.

How nice for you. Saturday I photographed an indoor concert with about 1,500 people in attendance. One person was actually masked. No one was six feet apart. Some were vaccinated and some weren't.

Two weeks earlier I photographed the annual horse races, which were canceled last year due to covid. Saturday night there were 6,000 plus in attendance. The grandstands only hold about 2,500, so the rest were in the beer and whiskey gardens, behind the grandstands at the betting windows and against the fence.

Next week I photograph a rodeo that will have somewhere around 2,000 in attendance. They had their rodeo last year despite the governors orders not to. Everyone signed a waiver and then the announcer pointed out that alcohol can be used to sanitize surfaces, so drink up. I was working, but virtually everyone else got drunk. At least in the case of the rodeo no one got sick. No one yet from the horse races. Too early to tell on the concert, but so what. Where I live people are returning to normal life regardless of what the fraidy cats are saying.

The governor has mandated masks in schools, but several of the local schools have already said that they are ignoring the order. I start coaching volleyball next week. The athletic director has said we don't need masks and the superintendent and school board has backed that up.

Do whatever you want to protect yourself, the rest of us are willing to take our chances.

As it turns out most replies have very little to do with my question. How do you feel about Executives in the government forcing the public to take any vaccine.. And do you want a government official to have that kind of power. Whether or not a vaccine has any value I do not want government to have that kind of power over the people. It's a small step from a vaccine mandate to ANY other mandate. It is an ULTIMATE dictatorial power.

Vaccination does not provide 100% protection. If you are vaccinated you are much less likely to catch covid, but if you catch it you are much less likely to get seriously ill or die. If you do catch it, however, you can pass it on to others, including those who are unvaccinated for whatever reason, thereby keeping the pandemic going and preventing society from fully opening. Wearing a mask and social distancing, even if vaccinated, shows that you care about others and not just yourself. It is one of the responsibilities of citizenship.

They already have with tetanus, typhoid, diphtheria, smallpox, mumps, smallpox, polio, and any "childhood" shots I missed. Kind of blows your argument.

Vaccines are already required for many other diseases, so requiring a covid vaccine would not be breaking new ground. It is not a small step to ANY other mandate, just like a drivers license and hunting license requirement s have been such a step. A vaccine requirement would be a response to a public health crisis. Nothing more.
