I don't post that many images and I don't think they are worth stealing but if someone steals my images I really don't know what I am going to do. I don't think I would put effort and money into sueing them though.

Not like I would make (loose) thousands over mine.......
Not my business, it's a hobby.

Aha! The ole "Poor Man's Copyright" method. My son before becoming a copyrighted music artist use this method for copyrighting his songs.

I have the originals on disk, backed up in a few places, they have the picture "taken date" in the EXIF data.

I just send a bunch of empty unsealed envelopes to myself so I always have one handy if I need a copyright. 😜🤪

Safer to mail than to depend on electronics.

Easily changed with an EXIF editor.

I used to email macro spider shots to the website Spiderzrule and once I saw my picture of a venusta orchard spider submitted by a female who claimed she saw that spider in her grandmothers yard. I notified the website owner who notified the female who submitted my picture and her story was she didn't claim to see that particular spider but one like it. A likely story.

20,000+ images???
If they are backed up in multiple places, including the cloud... little chance of loosing them.
So far I have 19,593 Files, 249 Folders. Many are RAW+JPEG. so maybe 12,000 individual images?

It was a tongue-in-cheek response to a tongue-in-cheek response.

I guess I'll need another room to store the paper copies...
