While I don't agree with all his statements, there are folks who are labeled as "died from COVID", when there's no direct evidence that COVID ever killed anyone. Folks die from one, or more, organ systems failures. That is, when the heart stops, you die; when the lungs quit, you die; when the brain stops functioning, you die. Nothing can bring you back if one of those systems dies completely.

I also agree that folks always look for THE cause, and COVID and influenza happen to be handy when it comes to "blame". Yes, folks die all the time and from a myriad of causes, including secondary and tertiary causes. Was a person a severe Type 2 diabetic, and what was damaged as a result - renal, adrenal, coronary, digestive????

I don't agree that COVID doesn't exist. It exists as surely as polio, influenza, mumps, etc. But the records show a survival rate of over 99%.

In the haste to get the vaccine out "there", it may have been a bit premature, since the 3rd wave (Delta variant) has surfaced. Yes, the Delta variant is more widespread and maybe more contagious, but is it as lethal as influenza? Not likely.

A virus mutates to make more of itself. It does not want to eradicate it's host. As it mutates it becomes more transmissible and less lethal. There are studies that show the 'delta' variant is indeed "the mostest contagiousest ever" but it's lethality is a decimal place removed from the alpha. But all you hear about from the lame stream is 'cases'...

At its most basic, DNA and RNA exist to reproduce themselves, to ensure their survival; simple as that. Males impregnate females to ensure survival of that particular male's DNA; nothing so noble as the overall survival of the species.

The Delta variant is a subsequent peak of the first outbreak, and will be far less virulent in its duration.
