These are a few photos of my hike into Horseshoe canyon. This is a beautiful canyon located 30 miles down a bumpy dirt road off of Utah Hwy 24. Because of it being literally in the middle of no where, it is quiet and peaceful compared to the crowded national parks. On my hike I spotted mule deer and multiple lizards. There are burros down there also but I didn't see them. I'll show pictures of the pictographs (which are the main attraction of this place) in my next post.

Beautiful shots. Looks very similar to the terrain in Zion Park.

Beautiful photos. The trees & mule deer really give sense of size to your subjects. Always a pleasure when you show your hikes.

Very familiar with Horseshoe Canyon. If you have the time and tenacity you can follow it all the way downstream to the Green River. Emphasis on tenacity!
Nice photos.
And some fine examples of Barrier Canyon style pictographs to come, I would bet.
