My old PC died and in setting up the new one I seem to have lost my copy of the software. Try as I might I can't find a legitimate copy of the old free Google NIK Collection. Lots of unsavory sites and DxO has now discontinued offering the free version. Do any hoggers have a copy for PC they might like to share? Send me a pm and we can move forward. Yes, you can still download the free version of the Nik Collection, or the Nik Collection 2012 as DxO now calls this. Below is a link to a page on the DxO website page to request the free Nik Collection 2012 download (affiliate link).

When did they stop offering the free version? Just a month or so ago it was still available. It was kind of buried and convoluted way to find it but it was still on the DXO website. I downloaded it myself.
I think there are a couple videos on Youtube describing how to find it. Course that all depends on weather you're correct and they've since discontinued it.

When you setup the new one, make a clone of the hard drive. If you have a problem, you'll be able to copy it back. Unfortunately, this doesn't work from one computer to another.

All, I've responded to those who requested the NIK collection download with a link to the NIK folder on my Google Drive so they can download the 429 MB file. Please let me know if that worked for you.

I saved the email DXO sent, when I requested the free download in June 2020. These were the links. Text on the top part of the page looks garbled, but a box popped up asking if I wanted to download the .exe or .dmg file.
