Thanks, Mundy and I surely agree and I use them with my 10X microscope objectives. I found the "Dollar Tree" to be a great source for cheap thin rubbery type ping-pong balls that come in a pack of six for $1.00.

I doubt that they would be good for serious ping-pong play however they make wonderful light diffusion for micro photography.

Great, I hope they work out. Thanks again for the information. As I gradually move into digital, I plan on moving in the direction of macro. I have seen other macro photographers use the same lights.
Thanks again for the information. You have some very nice macro pictures..

Okay, Gary, I ordered the AmScope 4X Plan Achromatic Finite objective. I have extension tubes. It's a start and I'll gradually build a set-up in my basement. Thanks

Elliott, I'm excited to hear that you are venturing into the amazing world of the often unseen. Above is the link to the article that got sparked my fire and I've shared it with others that have taken up the journey.

Fall weather is quickly approaching here with winter soon after that. Tabletop macro is a great way to pass the cold gloomy days. I eagerly await your future posts..!
