CindyHouk Loc: Nw MT

Hiked up to the summit of Mount Aeneas today...it's only a 6 mile round trip from Camp Misery to the summit but it's a steep one towards the top portion. The summit is at 7528 ft and is the tallest peak in the Jewel Basin wilderness area. The Jewel Basin is made up of 15,349 acres and 50 miles of trails which are specially designated for hiking only, with motorized vehicles and horses prohibited.

You can see all the smoke in the valley from the first few shots and we got to see some mountain goats at the top...that was special!
