Z50 Question

I have a Z50 and all of a sudden I have a protractor like image show up in my viewfinder.
I have tried everything to try to remove it. It’s a great feature, but I’m pretty good at keeping my images level.
I’m sure that it’s a simple fix, but I just need some help finding it.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hit your display selection a time or two. IIRC, it’s on the round four-way rocker switch on the back.

Some camera’s menu choices allow you to cull items from the selections in the display selector sequence. Not sure for the Z50 but worth checking into it.

Driving while reading.

Or maybe (and hopefully) you have text to voice to text facilities ?

That's the virtual horizon. I have assigned it to an Fn button on my Nikons. I'm not familiar with the Z50 so I'm not sure how to turn it off on that camera. You could assign it to the Fn1 or Fn2 button on your Z50 and turn it on or off with a button push.

Click the display button - it will cycle through the 4 display modes.

On the Z50, by default, the virtual horizon is turned on or off by cycling the 'DISP' button.

Of course it is not really a button, it is text on the bottom right on the rear screen.

BTW - If the camera is pointing straight down while you are cycling the virtual horizon will appear as a circle.

I found it,
I removed the virtual horizon.
It's a great tool, but it distracts my eye.
Thanks to everyone for the prompt assistance.

Push on the display icon on the display. There are three etched on the very right edge. Use the bottom one. Each push changes look of display. Your problem is one of these.

Thanks.
It really was not a problem, just a lack of knowledge.
With the help of UHH my situation was resolved.
I just needed to ask for help.
Thanks again

You’re very welcome. See my latest post of the moon titled “New Kit” to see what this Z50 can do.
