Then I need more practice. I look at it that my photography needs more practice. My patience will never get better no matter how long I practice.

Have a wonderful day.

Just to be a little more serious. When I was younger, I learned some stagecraft. One of the lessons was the ability to freeze when someone yelled "Freeze!" I do not recall how many times I did those exercises. But I learned how to stop and stay still. Add to this, I had been taught by an Illineh shaman how to listen for a heartbeat, outside my own. One day in the woods, I "heard" a heart beat and froze. There was a buck less than two feet away from me. I could have grabbed it as I let it walk by.

We humans can learn anything, most of all patience. There have been other events that showed me that patience can be something acquired through practice (until I found myself being patient without being aware of it). Interestingly, this learned patience is something that can be found in many regimes around the world.

Enjoy the world. Even when sitting or standing still.

An old rework of an adage/Koan. "Don't do something. Just sit there!"

A test for Patience.: Ask for directions on a street corner in a Chinatown at six-thirty AM Weekday. 耐心和练习

(Nàixīn hé liànxí / Patience and Practice) Chinese Language Googled. Looks right.

Great information and I certainly thank you for pointing out something I didn't know I needed. While my level of patience gets lower by the moment I have it under control and have been known to sit under a tree while a grey squirrel climbs up my leg to my waist. Only when I said, Good morning, did he scamper away. I am fine, as is.

No, not even close. As I said I am fine, AS IS.

Don't you feel even a little bit embarrassed at taking over someone else's post? As I look back this post is all about photos from, Davethehiker. It is HIS post, is it not?

I planted some Bee Balm plants last year. They bloomed this year and the bees showed up. I chased them around the flowers with a 100mm macro lens and this the best photo I got so far. What do you think?

Great job and beautiful Menarda 💜💜💜

Good shot. As for blurry, in double download it appears that depth of field is what you are seeing. Those parts of the bees in focus are sharp and crisp, those outside the plane of focus are blurred.
