These were taken at ISO 125 to achieve the darkness, f/2.2, with a r f/2.8 setting to achieve the softness. Shutter speed of 1/160. I used single point focus on the closest eye where available to allow the rest of the face to soften. My thought was to create a bit of Alice in Wonderland. Her mother was well versed in what we were doing.
My experience with my granddaughter is getting them to stand still or slow down long enough to get a photo.... at ANY shutter speed.
