Beautiful scenes, Jim! Those stone fences must have taken generations to get built.

I'd love to travel that road. How does one know if someone is already on it? Maybe from the other end? Lovely scenery!

Wonderful series!! BTW - I love driving on single track roads - everyone seems to be so good at pulling off at the proper passing spot.

Thank you very much much for looking in SueScott I always appreciate it and to be honest the passing spots where very rare Sue,I had to reverse several times to let small lorries and vans through. Glad you liked them.

These are excellent images of beautiful countryside, Jim. DL's are great! Love the rock outcroppings, but I bet the farmers don't.

Thank you very much for looking in John I really appreciate it and the farmers up in the hills have mainly sheep and cows for grazing and the rock outcroppings are used to rebuild the drystone walls when damaged.Glad you liked them John.

Thank you very much for looking in Stan I always appreciate your visits and the drystonewalls, they have no cement To support them have been used for many years and looking at the length of some of them they must have taken a lot of work and time to build.Glad you liked them.

Single track roads have "passing pull-overs" every few hundred yards. If a car is coming toward you and there is a passing spot on your side you pull into it until the car passes. If there is a passing spot on the approaching car's side he will pull off while you pass. It's a nifty system that really works well.
