Is there a way to correct lens distortion in a group shot.

I took the attached top photo at my High School reunion. I printed many copies and sent them who wanted a copy.

I see a problem with this photo and the one below it. The lady on the extreme left and the guy on the extreme right look too big to me.

These people were not tiny to begin with but I don't think they are as big as I made them look in this photo. Look at the size of the picture frames on the wall behind the group. The frame near the center look more narrow than the frame on the left. I took this photo with a Sony A900 and a cz24~70mm f2.8.

I processed the photo using DxO PhotoLab, that is supposed to remove lens distortion but those two people still look fat. I had the same problem with another group shot taken the night prior.

I attempted using Topaz Viewpoint to remove what I perceive as distortion in the second photo. Topaz asked for a link to RAW file and automatically made some corrections but not what I was hoping for. I tried to apply a manual distortion but the fix was "global" in that it made everyone look thinner and the ones in center turned into bean poles.

Is there a way to apply a "skinny filter" to just the people on the ends?

Maybe I'm wrong and the people on the ends were really that fat, and just don't remember?!

BTW I'm the guy in the Tux or dark suit with one knee on the ground. The red head near me in both photo is now my wife I proposed to her that night. I had to press the shutter button and then race to get into the photo. I was just hanging on to the lady dressed in blue so I did not fall over. She was a friend of mine in HS. I'm now married to the red head.

The deformation at the edges in a WA lens can be corrected in Photosop CC.

Look under Lens Correction.

Thanks, I'll look for that feature. I do own PS CC.

I think I'm discovering that the lens distortion correction has already been applied. The people on the sides are really that big. I can introduce some distortion to make the lady in black, on the left the look thinner but then her face looks too thin.

I fear "it is what it is." I do not want to distort her. I did once deliberately distort the brides figure at the request of the grooms mother. Using the liquify tool I shrunk the bride's tummy and enlarged her breasts to give he a more balanced look. It was indictable and the bride loved the photo. I never told them what I did. Since then she has had a baby and can look back at that photo and think that giving birth changed her shape. Somehow I do not think that it's a moral thing to do. I will not do that again.
