From an older photo at a 2015 air show. Shows a lot of movement when downloaded but I still love the moon.
Yeah, you have some ghosting but it sure is a nice composition.
Excellent timing.
do you have photos before and after this one to see movement

I wish it had turned out crisp. Thank you, as I still love the photo and appreciate your comments.

Yes, I do. Story behind the photo is that I had just stepped up to FX in 2015. I had purchased a Nikon D600 which had sensor issues (the oil spot). I had just got the situation ironed out with Nikon and received the new D610. My wife and I were driving along in North Kansas City on I-435 with no idea there was a practice Air Show flight. The formation roared over so we took the next exit and pulled into a parking lot. I had the kit 70-300 on. Having never shot anything moving at 500 mph, I raced through the settings and guessed. The shot was taken with focal length 300mm, f5.6, ISO 100, pattern metering, 1/250 shutter. So I was shooting slow with a mediocre lens and with a great deal of inexperience. Here are two lead in shots in continuous burst. The 70-300 mm actually performed well and it was the shooter that fudged the shots
