Day 288 Daily Challenge 10/14/12 " A Tribute to Friends"

Welcome to today's challenge! Although not much of a challenge but more less just a day of thanks.
Once in a while we come across people in this world that make an impact on our lives. To me a true friend is an extended part of my family.
Although I wanted to tribute this day to our friend Sean, I think it is important to also pay my respects to all my friends.
Our friend Sean has been on a long journey. Coming all the way from China to try and find a life for himself is an odd thing in chinese tradition, usually the males stay home to care for the family. Sean has chosen a different path. To come to America to fulfill his dream to join our military. He has mde that dream come true for himself through determination and not giving up. Here is to you my friend!!
For everyone else.. Take this time to reflect upon your lifes journey and those friends you have made along the way. Pay them a special thanks today. It doesn't have to be a photo of them personnaly, just a thanks for being a friend.

me too. My friend (above) Stan was murdered in 2004. He literally saved my life and changed me. Along with my family of course.
I was an army sniper until I got injured. Now I am a softy lol

you are correct it is day 288... we will do framing and fill the frame on tuesday. I thought it important that jfan get to do this for his friend...
