Thanks, I saw it but lately my connection has been wonky so I guess it posted it to cyberspace.

I like it. No busy background, and he is giving a pretty intense look.

The Towhee had been eating seeds on the flower bed behind the bath and got splashed. The finches left and the Towhee hopped down to look, went back to the seeds a couple of times and finally did a real quick dip before leaving.

Probably making a mental note:
The fat guy fills these things (4 in the yard) at sunset, I think I need to be here early before the mob uses it.

We get a lot of Starlings at our feeder and they flip the seeds out on the ground to get at what they want. The poor sparrows don’t have a chance at the feeder, so they take the starlings’ rejects. They make such a mess!

I fill the feeders (9) and the birdbaths (4) just before sundown. And during breeding/nesting season I refill the feeders about noon because they need the extra food while laying eggs and raising the young.

Then it is fun watching the fledglings learning to use the feeders and bird baths. I have watched adults show the young ones how to perch, stick their head in the feeding hole etc. Sometimes they take a seed out and stick it in the young one's beak to reinforce the idea.
