To remember those who sacraficed so much.
I just wanted to post a few images in honor of those who gave so much. Thank you all and God Bless all those who served.

Thanks for your post. We do need to remember them more than take them for granted because we get a long holiday weekend.
My grandfather was in the trenches of France, fighting for us. He inhaled 'mustard gas' and had breathing problems and a bad cough for the rest of his 65 years.
My father flew as a gunner on a bomber over Germany during WWII. Every flight was a tremendous risk to all crew members. The planes were just hollow shells that bullets and ground-based shrapnel bursts passed through like it was only paper.
All of our soldiers and sailors deserve our respect and appreciation for their service to our country. Never forget!
My Dad was a 19 year old combat medic in WWII - went ashore on Utah Beach and later was in the Battle of the Bulge, the bloodiest battle in WWII. Saw more than his share of things a 19-year-old should not see. Then he had a 16 year break in service and re-joined and completed 20 years. He did two tours in Vietnam.

As I sit here, comfortable and warm ( in the Northeast chill) I am forever grateful for their sacrifice. I will always remember.

Thanks for posting this. My father was in the wwII navy on Okinawa invasion, my uncle Bob, career Navy survived the Arizona, my Great Uncle Ed fought in 3 (WWI<WWII & Korea) wars , and Uncle Ronnie in Korea. I tear up just thinking about their courage and love for this country. They are all gone now and I miss them very much. May God bless all who have served our country to keep us free..
