Lamb's Quarters surface

Lamb's Quarters has a coating of white spheres on the underside of the leaves. This coating causes the leaves to repel water. These plants can be found in vacant lots.

This "weed" is edible and very nutritious. The leaves can be eaten raw or cooked.
