My wife and I recently spent some time in Eastern Oregon from the Zumwalt Prairie in the north to the Steens in the south. We think of ourselves as birdwatchers, and while Terry does the heavy lifting of identifying who we see, I try to photograph as many species as possible. These are a few examples from our travels. Here's five. Another two hundred photos are at mrtk.smugmug.com. Not all are works of art. Some are there because we try to document who we saw. If you're interested in birding this part of the world you might find the collections useful.
