We have come to the end: the last post of images from Quedlinburg with more building details and a mood that appropriately changes to dramatic as we end our local tour - and head for the interesting restaurant "Anno 1560" that takes its name from the year the building was constructed - and we got here just a few weeks after extensive renovations were completed and the restaurant opened - I can report that we had an extremely pleasant meal with pleasant, knowledgeable service, surrounded by an interesting fusion of very old architecture with modern, bright interior design. The last two pictures were taken with a very basic cell phone camera, so please forgive the rather pedestrian quality.

Great captures, Joe. It’s nice to know that something other than people sags with many years.

Thank you George for looking in on my ongoing tour, I believe this is the first time I see a comment from you on one of my travelogues, so I bid you a very friendly welcome. This particular tour will go on for quite a while yet, so if you like the subject matter, I invite you to drop in again over the coming weeks. Have a wonderful day - Joe

Thank you Barbara for your kind words. Yes, this is nature's way of saying: It's ok, just relax, hang loose and roll with the punches.
