Photo Scanner - Epson FF-680W

I decided to scan fifty years of photographs into my Lightroom catalog. For that purpose I purchased an Epson FF-680W photo scanner. Not only does it scan at 1 photo per second, it also restores the color and will eliminate any red-eye.

Most of my photographs have faded over the years. This device gives them new life. If I wish I can scan at 300, 600 or 1200 dpi and as a Tiff. This allows me the most control over any edits I wish to do. If you are looking for a photo scanner I strongly recommend the Epson.

Glad an office scanner does 4x6" prints for you. I certainly have plenty of those. But since I also have film from 35mm to 8x10" and 8x10" prints I bought an Epson V850 PRO Scaner for $1,200.

The advertising emphasises it as a photo scanner. I need a document scanner but would like one that does either. How does it do with documents?

I used Epsons for many years, finally got tired of the many niggling problems and switched to a Canon Pro 100. What a great scanner, I love it. Not a problem in a carload! Harry
