Filling in time

I haven't done much photography for a while - stuck at home during an extended lockdown. I filled some of that time making this fibre piece. It's a view from the back of my sister's beach house with examples of all the critters that stop by from time to time. I've named it "Beach Hill Critters: Annual General Meeting".

Very nicely done and beautifully captured. Looking at the stitching and borders, is it a quilt? Also, how large is it?

Thanks Bill. Well, I guess it's technically a quilt since there are several layers. I usually just refer to the pictures as fibre art. It's 27" wide by about 36" I think. It's over at my sister's house - she's taking it to the beach house in Nova Scotia as soon as they lift the Covid stay-at-home order - who knows when that will be!

I have never heard of a "fibre" piece. It's certainly a wonderful piece of art you have created.
