I found a bee climbing around a clover blossom looking for some sweet pollen and I became fixated on getting a shot of it. It wasn't until I downloaded the image that I noticed that a little green grasshopper was also in the frame down at the lower right. A pleasant little photobomb..!

They are all coming over to see the famous bug photographer, Gary. They probably do not understand what it takes to be in a detailed close-up.

Thanks, UTMike. Unfortunately it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for them....then eternity in the specimen bottle.

Thanks, Curmudgeon. That's the price of admission that they would have to pay.

Another great thing about macro, sippy. It happens all the time to me. Great shot.

Thanks, Kpmac. Reminds me of the days long ago when I would hunt for Easter Eggs with the other children.

Thanks, Carol. It makes me happy to see the honey bees for they are really having a hard time and they play an important part in our food chain by pollinating the plants we depend on for our food.

Nice photo and nice surprise. The first picture I took when I got my Tamron 90mm Macro was of a small weed flower at the edge of my driveway. The flower was about the size of a dime. When I looked at the display I noticed what I believe was a Katydid nymph. I then took about 100 more featuring the insect. Serendipity.

Thanks for dropping by and there is something to be said about the old adage, "Take time to stop and smell the roses." It's the little joys like your experience that makes our days memorable.
