I was hiking around the forest just before a torrential rain started. Unfortunately, I overstayed my welcome and was soaked to the bone by the time that I got back to my car. This is another Fuji X100S IR photo from that trip. I know IR is not everyone's taste, I'll keep the IR posts to a minimum in the future.

Very nice rendition. Don't apologize for IR. We can't be all things for everyone. If its your thing, post your best and let others decide whether to appreciate it.

After one rainstorm soaking of camera (D800E unaffected) and lens 150-600 that needed service, I now carry a white plastic trash bag with me at almost all times in a small sling camera bag. I do this just like carrying an extra battery and blank SD card.

I would shoot IR film from time to time. Haven't tried to do this with digital. But, I've got no problem with it. Goal is to get the shot, make the image.

Why suppress posting IR images if you want to post them. I like them and also do IR from time to time my self! Perhaps shock UHHers with an IR of a bird.

I carry a lightweight plastic camera and lens sleeve whenever Iā€™m hiking with the camera.

Thanks, Mike but I think a bird IR might result in a lifetime ban.šŸ˜Š
