I took a long walk yesterday (5/7/21) on a very beautiful Friday. I went to ChesLen Wildlife Preserve in Westchester, PA. They recently constructed an 18" wide walkway through a portion of the marsh that previously was not reachable. It was there that I saw a Green Heron - it flew and landed in a tree about 10 feet from me - I had to navigate tree branches to get a clear shot but the heron didn't seem to mind me.
