Since it has been raining off and on the last couple of days . I decided to look for another photo today to add color to . While looking on the web where I can download free photos to use . I found this high quality photo of a person I grew up watching on many movies and thought why not do something special in their honor . So I spent 3hrs adding color to this photo even if they never get to see it .
Thanks one more time for taking the time to look out of your busy day or night . And as always , if you leave a comment a special thanks from me to you . Any questions , I will be happy to try to answer . Tommy

Nice job of colorizing one of my favorite actors.
What program did you use to accomplish this?
I have been looking at some to do B&W colorizing.

Your skill set is amazing but I've said that before
The bits where the skin tones merge into the hairline and eyebrows must be tricky to get right. You've done a fine job.

I use the tools inside PS . I do have the latest version of Photoshop . And I use a Wacom Pen & Tablet . I have been using this program since 2002.
Although PS came out with a update where they are trying to achieve adding coloring to a B&W photo . They got a long way to go before it can do what I can do

The trick I use to add color in those areas is I move the hardness slider for the paint brush all the way to the left , pick a soft brush , lower the opacity sometimes , and the flow amount sometimes until I get what looks correct to my eyes for that photo .
Fine work as usual but not the color of his tie but how he is wearing it.

I have been getting emails from various companies trying to sell me their B&W color conversion software.
One company is based in Germany. I have some of their software and they work pretty well.
