Some may be available here shortly! This is the same barn from my post the other day with the old Dodge truck. Been photographing this barn for several years, even posted some on the hog in the past. This trip the gate was open and the rancher invited me in to shoot as much as I wanted...had a good time and got several new angles. He recommended not to enter as lumber occasionally falls from above and he didn't want me to get any "head splinters". The rancher was off looking for a couple of stray calf's so didn't get any history...it was a magnificent barn in its day. Anyhow, I get by here maybe once a year and always expect to see a heap of lumber where the barn stood...think it may outlast me!!

Great series. Love barns and old trucks. You've got both.

Barns seem to last forever, until the roofs fail. Once the roof goes, the barn is soon to follow.

IDEA: Invite your local Fire dept to a real Barn burner.
They could likely use the practice. Invite your family , friends and neighbors to a real barn burner !

Great shots as usual. That piece of farm equipment is a manure spreader.

It looks like it must have been an awesome barn in its day and it still is in a way. You did get some new angles here that add to the story. Well done and I hope it is still there for next year's visit.

Many thanks, Big Daddy...and the way the roof looked last year I thought the barn would be on the ground this trip!!
