Very interesting. My first SLR was a Canon AE1 Program and with film one couldn't afford to fire off 25 shots of one subject. When on vacations I was very selective as to what I shot. Then I moved up to the Canon 630 because it had auto focus. During my drinking days focusing on a subject after downing 12 beers was near impossible.

It must have been a grand collection, Mike. I'll bet you kind of miss them but you have very nice photos to remember each one by.

August 1951 Nikon M about 3,000 where made, this one has the serial number 906 instead of 609. about 6 were made like that.
