Let's try the old house again...

Last one tonight, I promise. I decided to give it one last effort. Sometimes photos I have applied treatments on don't translate so well on here. Anyway I've been watching this old place waste away, and never been able to get the story on it, even after living here 20 years.

A different approach, but I like it, for some reason I can't really put my finger on right now. Maybe in the future.

A grand old place. No hope of being restored?

I'm not crazy about it. It was a trial of a new software. I attempted to tone it down but didn't want to eliminate it completely.

Thanks, photog. I was going for an old look. It really is a fascinating place on a very busy corner of town, surrounded by booming businesses on all sides.

NMGal, In the 20 years I've lived here, I've never seen even the smallest effort. Someone mows the grass and cleans up brush around it.

It is a neat old house and your processing does enhance that fact. It has the feel of an old, aged photo.

Thank you, C. Some day I will find out the story and share it.

Sure is. I can just picture an old lady sweeping off that porch.
