Some friends introduced me to a nice couple who wanted casual pictures of their lives at home. I met with them at their house and was totally surprised. They have a Female led marriage. She works and he cares for the house. No children. Married 20+ years. Well I spent 8 hours at the house and took over 300 pictures,. I gave them the sd card. They are very nice but very private. They let me keep one shot to post after I told them about this web sight. It is called "Waiting"

Sorry, but I'm a bit lost with this one. Is it a corner of the bed/curtain/whip/lamp/bum? And the lighting? I'd be interested to hear what the objective was here and what you like about this image.

So you want me to be insincere and say something nice? Or to not have an opinion? Seriously? And finally, so what's the point of a forum?

I took it to mean he was agreeing with you.

Don't quite see that, but maybe he'll elaborate. Anyway, what the heck . . . let's all have fun

I do not advocate or condem their live style choices. I was honored in the trust they placed in me though. This image, and others, was about the lighting since I was allowed to shoot anything I wanted at any moment, but no flash. They staged nothing for me. I was the mouse in the corner documenting events.

IMHO your one photo would be much better if you cropped down mainly to the butt and toys on the bed. Now has so much dead, wasted space, especially left side.

On another note I had a similar experience back in the early 90's when I was a traveling salesman. Got talking to a guy about my portrait & wedding side business, invited me to their home for the same type of shooting as you on my next trip. When finished handed them the rolls of film (they covered cost) and address of a discreet mail-order developer. Never saw again (or a finished photo) but an experience I have never forgotten.
