We have a variety of wildflowers in our natural lawn yard and this is one of the tiny Yellow Wood Sorrel that dot the green yard along with the wild violets, purple nettles, flash garlic, dandelions, wild strawberries along with gosh knows what else is to be found.
Crazy, crazy weather with snow covering the yard yesterday and off and on drizzle today. The snow didn't stay long and the temperature here is moderate with no jacket required to be outdoors. I'm sure that the insects were thinking what the heck is going on.
I picked this little bloom and brought it in for a focus stacking session magnified enough to make the pollen visible.
Stimulates the imagination. Nice representation.

Thanks, I retired in January of 2018 and I needed something to fill my time so I started looking at thing around me in ways that I had not looked at them before and I found it to be so interesting that I have not stopped since.

Thanks, I find that the opportunities are endless when I look at them under magnification.

Thanks, UTMike. We don't have the dazzling vistas and parks as those out west so I resort to exploring the smaller things around me which may look like their own universe at times.
