My favorite: When the Founders talked about “we the people,” they were not talking about black people. They weren’t talking about women, and they weren’t talking about Native Americans. Whenever race enters the question, the Founders are going to end up disappointing you, because they were pretty much all racists.

First, your full of Sh*t. You're showing your ignorance of history.

No they didn't think "slavery was good". They tried like hell to end slavery with the Constitution but the southern states (the states that were controlled by what was to soon be named the Democrat Party) refused to sign the Constitution if slavery was ended by the Constitution. The founders knew that if all the states didn't join to make a single country then USA would have failed quickly, so compromises had to be made in order to keep the country together. The hope was that they would be able to end slavery in time. However, we all know that the Democrat Party would not allow that. They had the southern states succeed from the Union rather than than give up slavery. This lead to the Civil War. After the war they were able to change Constitution to they way it was supposed to be in the beginning. During the vote to make these changes, 100% of all Democrats voted against them these changes. 100%

Correct women couldn't vote here just like it was in the rest of the world. However when the Republican party tried to pass amendments to the Constitution to allow women to vote, once again it was the Democrat Party that fought tooth and nail for years to prevent that. Look it up, all the women that fought for Women's Suffrage belonged to the Republican Party.

"Only white men could vote." Well your wrong again, big surprise there. Free men of any color could vote.

"When the Founders talked about 'we the people', they were not talking about black people." Well your wrong yet again. They were talking about everyone. I think you need to go back and read about the actual historical accounts of what happened back then and what these people actually wrote and argued about to get this country started. Don't read what modern liberal writers say, they're goal is to rewrite history in order to twist the facts to suit the modern goals. They're not interest in facts or truth.

Short version: Democrats are bad. Democrats are responsible for most bad things.

"democrat party" is what wingers call it as an insult. It's the Democratic party, and you are old enough to know that.

"They're not interest in facts or truth."

And you want us to believe you are?

They haven't been the Democratic party since JFK was assassinated. They are a bunch of domestic terrorists nowdays.

Maybe you should read the comment just a little closer.

Maybe you should read up on the founding fathers and how many of them owned slaves.
Even Benjamin Franklin had slaves. Don't try to bring them into the 21st Century. They were slave owners and the only thing they wanted out of the revolution was to stop paying taxes to the Crown.

Oh by the way, while you're researching history, look at 1964 and what happened to the southern democrats.
Get back to me, when you have a clue.
