I haven't been to Everglades City for some years now so I decided to go have lunch and look around. 2 of the 4 main buildings are in a sorry state. The old church looks to be still active and the City Hall is definitely open for business but the old Depot building that used to be a restaurant is now is falling down and the bank is in the process of being gutted. #1 is the old Bank front doors; #2 is the Bank front; #3 is the Church and #4 is the City Hall and #5 is the Depot. All shots are color RAW files converted to black and white .jpg in photoshop. Shot with the Sony A900 and Minolta 24mm f/2.8.

Nice B&W renderings of this town's buildings.

The town may be failing but your photography certainly is not. This is a very good series and B&W fits the subject very well.
Nice photos, a hurricane hit there a few years ago and did a lot of damage.
Nice work. To bad about the buildings. Hopefully someone will rebuild the depot too.
Nice work with the black and white.

All very good. The church is my favorite.
