These are a few of my shots from the last trip to Merritt Island. There were a fair number of birds. Most were not close so these are significant crops. It was fairly early so I think we caught them all at breakfast time.

Excellent set Carol love the reflections as well.
I went there about a month ago. Very disappointed, very few birds. I am from The Villages.

Thank you, Jim. There was little wind so it was a good day for reflectios.

This time of year is getting a little late for large numbers of birds. Dec - Feb is best. We didn't see as many as we do sometimes but it was still very nice to be there.
Wonderful set, Carol. Well done!
Nice and interesting and I love the blue water.

Thank you, John. I didn't think they were the best I could do but I was pleased to get them. I think I was a little out of practice.

Thank you! The water was reflecting the sky color. It was a pretty day.
An outstanding set, Carol. It's difficult not to blow the highlights on egrets. You managed to expose them nicely.
Excellent set, Carol! Great light and use of reflections.
