We added a new member to the family last year (2020) right around this time. This is Calvin, AKA Cal Naughton Jr.
My Canon 100mm 2.8 macro offers great portraits of this guy (see download versions), and he was a particularly willing subject this day. He only stayed this size for a few weeks; the last shot is just cell phone shot from the holidays to show how much he grew in 8 months. Dogs are the best, right?

A dog is always happy to see you...the cat only when he hears the electric can opener or the treat bag being opened.

You must never have had cats like my two Persians. When the garage door goes up, they are most often at door to greet us!

He was a beautiful puppy that grew into a gorgeous dog. These are great portraits.

What breed or mix is this handsom dog?
