Recently, mostly for lack of other bird opportunities and to keep my sanity, I have been pursuing a few smaller birds......

The smaller the bird the more challenging !! These are all hand held....

A special thanks to all for stopping by and to comment ! .....Larry

Larry,
Nice work. Especially the Warbler.
Small birds do make a challenging subject.

Good way to get familiar with the small ones is with our cameras, as you have done!

Great shots!
The first bird is a Palm Warbler. The second is a Sanderling in basic (non breeding) plumage. And the third is a Northern Cardinal.

Love the shots, Larry, especially the warbler. I was interested to see that we use the same gear.

Excellent images, Larry! Small birds are harder than big ones.

Nice set, I like the Palm Warbler. The first bird I saw on my first day in Everglades NP.
