My site is simply for sharing (primarily with friends and family).
I've been a programmer since 1972 and enjoy building my own, hand coded.
(I built a dozen others for "Ma & Pa" businesses over the years.)
To me building my site is kinda a game... a challenge.
It might not be a "perfect" site, but I like it, and that's all I'm concerned with.
My site is in my signature line.

I'd suggest a bit of separation between your banner image and the images displayed.

Where did you go to start one? Does it cost a lot, mine would be basically just for me and a few close friends to share with.
