Thanks for sharing your views of the movements of the sun in the seasonal changes. But IMO it would have been more effective had the viewpoint been the same in all three shots - same spot, same camera bearing, etc.

While I am hesitant to ask for fear of showing my ignorance, were these shots taken shortly after sunrise in a direction a bit south of easternly? There is no doubt in my mind that I would have gotten hopelessly lost had I been a mariner a few centuries ago trying to figure out where I was with celestial navigation.
