Tough decision for governments and individuals with such conflicting news. However two recent reports suggest that it might:

Will have to await the publications to see the data.

Absolute load of rubbish 26 million first jabs and nearly 2million second jabs not one reported case of blood clotting, I am surprised at Americans believing this nonsense, mind you as it was made in the UK perhaps it is jealousy. For God's sake grow up Vivid will kill you vaccination will not.

Some people live for conspiracy theories, stories about big business(big pharma in this case) doing anything for money etc. etc. etc. Then they put it out on the net and freak people out.

The US doesn't really need the Astra Zeneca vaccine as we already have 3 approved for use here so the Astra Zeneca produced by a US contracting pharma company is being sent to Canada and Mexico the last I read a couple of days ago. They need it and are using it.

I also read an article that for every report it causes blood clots there are others that say it doesn't or they don't know. One said "maybe" but they are extremely rare with other problems that may be causing the clots. And I think I saw a headline on an article I didn't take time to read that the EU has declared it safe.

Wow tell us how you really feel! Guess the German and Norwegian scientists reporting this are also anti-UK. Maybe you will believe it when it is published in Lancet, a British Medical Journal?
PS. Both my wife and I as well as our two adult children got both the first and second shots of Moderna, no problems.

With 28 million vaccinations carried out in the UK both first and second jabs with any blood clotting reported I know who I believe, another 685,000 vaccinations carried out today I do have to wait for the Lancet I live in England. Our medical officer of health and his deputy and the head of the NHS, the head of the vaccination service on television with the pm and the Secretary of state for health on television with vivid reports in this country we believe it is safe and it is free to UK citizens.

Is Dow Jones a trusted source of medical news? The stats for these few or two cases scream odd but not to COVID-19. Women under 55. It is pretty common for some birth control pills to cause blood clots. Death from many other causes would be more common than a vaxx.

One thing I forgot. Sitting too long and not moving your legs or getting up and walking around can cause blood clots in the legs and then those can travel through the blood to other parts of the body.

And what have a huge number of people been doing because they are on lockdown for covid? Sitting either in front of a computer trying to work remotely or playing games and in front of a TV(aka Tellie) just watching.

I don't know if they still do but airlines used to tell people on long flights to get up and move around a bit to avoid blood clots. Especially tall or big people who are cramped in those small seats.

Is it not strange that Germany and Norway find a problem in a vaccine they hardly use where as in the UK who designed the vaccine and used it 28 million times there has been no problem.
Perhaps it is sour grapes they did not design the vaccine, I only believe what the UK medical authorities say about anything medical especially as vivid is soaring in Germany.

Didn’t I just read that the numbers per million in the study with blood clots are not quite as high as found in the general population?
BTW, I was vaccinated with AZ in November as part of a study.

When I was a little lad my Grandmother would say "Go tell that to the marines" meaning marines would believe anything. I think I might say to my grandkids "Go tell that to the Americans"

Had my AZ jab in February, Mrs. N. got hers in January. No problems yet.
Happy for others to poo poo it so long as we can buy up the excess and keep on jabbing.
Our local vac. centre is going for a record (for them) 2k jabs today.

I'm more concerned by a few words I heard on the radio this morning which I think said the less people that are vaccinated the more chance the virus has to engineer a vacination beating defence.

France, Germany, and possibly Italy are preparing for Lockdown III - all have much lower vaccination rates than the U.K. & U.S.

Stereotyping? Not cool.
